Well, so far three excellent entries in the Caption Contest. But I confess, I had thought more readers would partake. I was hoping The Godfather would show up and say something about the American bailouts, or Paul would compare those turtles to the lineup at the penitential services, or Lil Bit would call it a big shell game, and Pearl, well, Pearl always says something unexpected, but I was hoping for a bus joke or maybe a life in the fast lane comparison. I even thought a rare appearance of Tentative Equinox South might happen — I thought maybe she’d see it as the new type of cattle call. And Awalkabout, I thought she might immediately think of a social skills class gone awry, or Jamboree might see it as the understudy chorus for the latest G&S. And where in heck is Ian Alexander Martin with his astute observations about the state of arts funding in the province of BC?

Sadly, none of that has happened yet.

But I remain hopeful! Look how much of the work I’ve already done for you.
